Easter Egg Decorating Workshop
MINNESOTA – The Polish American Cultural Institute of Minnesota is offering an Easter Egg Decorating Workshop on Sunday, March 10
th from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Pulaski Auditorium, 2114 Fifth St. N.E., Minneapolis, MN 55418. Instructor: Annella Kochanowska-Platta. Class size is limited. Children under the age of 8 must have an adult sign up for the workshop with them. Supplies will be provided for the participants. Participants wanting to learn how to blow out their own eggs too should bring some along, as well as a container for the yolks if they wish to keep them for later use. Relay for Life Clifton Team Partners With Zinburger For Fundraiser
CLIFTON, NJ – Carol’s Shining Stars, a Relay for Life Clifton team, is partnering with Zinburger at Riverwalk Mall, Route 3 West in Clifton for a fundraiser to benefit their team. 
Enjoy dining at Zinburger while supporting a good cause on March 12, 2019 from 11AM to 10 PM; 20% of your check, before taxes, will be donated to Carol’s Shining Stars. KU Career Development Center to Hold Job Fair for Educators March 11
KUTZTOWN, PA – Kutztown University’s Career Development Center will host its 38th annual Job Fair for Educators on Monday, March 11, in room 218 of the McFarland Student Union Building. The fair will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. KU students and alumni are welcome to attend the fair between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., and the general public is welcome to attend after 11 a.m. This year, more than 87 school districts will be represented. The Job Fair for Educators is an event held each spring specifically for senior education students and alumni. Recruiters from educational employers throughout Pennsylvania, as well as from other states across the country, will share information about education careers. “Hunger Doesn’t Stop” Food Drive
CLIFTON, NJ – Springing into Action!  Power of One Outreach is excited to announce that this year’s “Hunger Doesn’t Stop” Spring Break Food Drive is being sponsored by Kearny Bank, Clifton.  Schools are closed during Spring Break and families that depend on the school’s reduced or free lunch can use our help with groceries for the week. We are reaching out to the community for your help, by donating non-perishable food items such as hot/cold cereal, meals in a can, fruit cups, juice boxes, mac and cheese, granola bars, fruit snacks, pancake complete mix and syrup, peanut butter and jelly, tuna, soups, and dry milk. Kearny Bank will be collecting food for families in need and acting as our drop off location at all their Bank Branches located in Clifton. The collection will run March 1 through April 8th. Friends of the Shelter Spring Holiday Tree

Free Colorectal Cancer Screening
CLIFTON, NJ – The Clifton Health Department and Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center will be offering a free Colorectal Cancer Screening on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 between 10 am and 12 pm at the Clifton Health Dept., 900 Clifton Ave., 2nd Floor, in Clifton. Participants will receive a take-home fecal occult blood test kit and will be educated on how to use it as well as what to do if the results are positive.  Follow-up will be conducted by Mountainside Medical Center. This Screening is open to Clifton and Little Falls residents. Chopin Concert Sponsored By PAAA
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Pianist, Martin Labazevitch, will be the featured artist at the PAAA Chopin Concert to be held on March 24, 2019 at the Arts Club of Washington.  Mr. Labazevitch has performed throughout the world, appearing in many concert halls and festivals in Poland, Ukraine, Finland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Israel, Japan, South Korea and the United States.  Many of us know him from his frequent performances in our area at the Kosciuszko Foundation, the Polish Embassy and other venues.  By attending the concert you will not only spend an enjoyable afternoon listening to the great music of Chopin played by a world class pianist, but you will also be supporting the Polish American Arts Association of Washington, D.C. CLARK,  NEW JERSEY – The Polish Cultural Foundation has been blessed with generous donors who have funded three different scholarships for deserving undergraduate students of Polish descent. Each scholarship fund:
Lubomir and Irena Zabilski Scholarship
Joseph S. Rozanski Scholarship
Irena and Mieczyslaw Niznik Halocha Scholarship
gives awards of $2,000 for the upcoming school year. All undergraduate students of Polish descent are encouraged to apply. Homebound Service
CLIFTON, NJ – The Library provides free delivery of books and audiobooks to those residents of Clifton who are homebound, reside in a nursing home or assisted living environment. If you feel you qualify for this service, please print and fill out an application and mail it back to the Library. Someone will then be in touch with you to confirm details and set up delivery.
