Valedictorian, Amanda Stetz
To the Editor: As the school year comes to a close, I would like to acknowledge Amanda Stetz of Clifton High School as she was named valedictorian of her graduating class. I was proud to celebrate the accomplishments of Amanda and 46 exceptional students from local high schools this week at my Valedictorian Breakfast which I hold every year.
The achievements of these young scholars are nothing short of remarkable. Even at their young age, they have already recognized the value of lifelong learning. These students were tireless in pursuing their goals. They showed themselves as capable leaders – and America desperately needs leaders. They may not realize it now, but the accolades they have received mean far less than the journey they took and what they’ve learned along the way.
On behalf of the Ninth Congressional District, I congratulate Amanda and the rest of these promising individuals on finishing second to none among their peers and I wish them and all of their classmates the best in the years ahead. America is in good hands.
