Chrusciki (Bow Ties)
BOW TIES (Chrusciki)
12 egg yolks
6 T. sweet cream
3 T. sugar
1 T. whiskey
2 c. flour (more if necessary)
1/2 tsp. salt
Beat eggs well, add sugar, cream, whiskey, salt,
add flour gradually until dough is soft, enough to roll out.
Roll out dough until very thin,
cut into triangles and
make a slit in the center and pull one end thru slit.
Deep fry in Crisco or Wesson Oil until light golden brown.
Drain chrusciki on toweling paper.
Cool – then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
