PNA Council 62 Celebrates 90th Anniversary
MASSACHUSETTS – Polish National Alliance Council 62 will celebrate its 90th Anniversary at a dinner dance on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Pulaski Hall on 13 Norman Street, Chicopee, MA 01013. There will be a Social Hour followed by a short program and dinner. The well known “Ekstaza” Band will play from 7:00 P.M. to midnight. Please join us for this special event. Council 62 is a fraternal organization that supports community efforts and operates Camp Stanica, an overnight co-ed summer camp for children ages 6-14 in Bondsville, MA. Council 62 is comprised of members who reside throughout Western Massachusetts. Tricky Tray – 50/50 – Food Drive
NEW JERSEY – The Polish Cultural Foundation, 177 Broadway, Clark will host three events on Sunday, September 28th; proceeds from this event will go towards their facility maintenance and upkeep expenses. Three events: Tricky Tray Auction, 50/50 Raffle, and Food Drive to benefit a local food bank. They will kindly accept donations at any monetary level, goods and/or services. Polish American Concert/Sing Along
MASSACHUSETTS – St. Valentine’s Polish National Catholic Church and the Polish Heritage Committee in Northampton are co-sponsoring a Polish American Concert/Sing Along, Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 2 p.m. at St. Valentine’s Church, 127 King Street, Northampton, MA. All friends of Polonia are cordially invited to attend. The hymns and patriotic songs will be led by singers from area Church choirs. In addition, Lisa Woods, Mezzo Soprano will also sing hymn and patriotic selections in English. An afternoon of music and fellowship is surely to be enjoyed by all. Feast of St. Theresa
NEW JERSEY – Please join in the celebration of the feast of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus at Holy Face Monastery in Clifton on Wednesday, October 1, 2014. There will be all day Eucharistic adoration, confessions (2-5), Praying the Rosary with St. Therese (4:30), Holy Mass at 7:30 pm followed by a procession and distribution of blessed roses. Vendors Needed For Harvest Fest
NEW JERSEY – The Clifton Recreation Department is looking for vendors for the Annual Harvest Fest to be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014. The Harvest Fest follows the Halloween Parade and is held at Main Memorial Park, 1395 Main Ave, Clifton, NJ. from 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The event features games, rides, music, a magic show, an apple pie contest and more. Whether your specialty is homemade crafts, cooking, novelty gifts, school fundraising, etc. you will have a great time at this event.
