Saint Adalbert Parish’s 3rd Annual Dinner
PENNSYLVANIA –  Saint Adalbert Parish of Philadelphia will hold its 3
rd Annual Fundraiser Dinner with the Polish-American String Band on Saturday, March 2nd from 6 to 10 p.m.  Music will be provided by the Polish American String Band and DJ Bart. Besides dinner, there will also be an appetizer table and a sweet table. Admission: Adults $30 – Children (6-12) $10. Tickets are available in the rectory office 215-739-3500. Chopin Concert

Trio Fontes Invited by Popular Request To Perform At Clifton Main Memorial Library
CLIFTON, NJ – The chamber ensemble TRIO FONTES, sponsored by the FRIENDS of the Clifton Public Library, will be performing at the Main Memorial Library on Wednesday, March 6 at 1:30  PM. This ensemble will be appearing again at the Main Memorial Library on April 30, 2019 at 7:00 PM. The concerts are free and open to the public. Trio Fontes is made up of Violinist, Mr. Yevgeniy Dyo, was invited by the Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan to the United Nations to perform at the headquarters of the United Nations in New York; Pianist, Ms. Sojung Lee,  who has competed and won in the Chamber Music Honors Competition at Rutgers University;  and Cellist, Ms. Suji Kim, a recipient of numerous awards including the Montclair University Alumni Association Scholarship Award.

Relay for Life Clifton Team Partners With Zinburger For Fundraiser
CLIFTON, NJ – Carol’s Shining Stars, a Relay for Life Clifton team, is partnering with Zinburger at Riverwalk Mall, Route 3 West in Clifton for a fundraiser to benefit their team.

Chopin Concert Sponsored By PAAA
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Pianist, Martin Labazevitch, will be the featured artist at the PAAA Chopin Concert to be held on March 24, 2019 at the Arts Club of Washington.  Mr. Labazevitch has performed throughout the world, appearing in many concert halls and festivals in Poland, Ukraine, Finland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Israel, Japan, South Korea and the United States.  Many of us know him from his frequent performances in our area at the Kosciuszko Foundation, the Polish Embassy and other venues.  By attending the concert you will not only spend an enjoyable afternoon listening to the great music of Chopin played by a world class pianist, but you will also be supporting the Polish American Arts Association of Washington, D.C. PAWS for Reading – Now Underway!
CLIFTON, NJ – Children ages 5 and up who can read independently are invited to practice reading out loud for 10-15 minutes to a therapy dog. This relaxing, non-judgmental setting is especially suited to reluctant readers. Sessions will be held at the Main Memorial Library on Saturdays from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. and at the Allwood Branch on Tuesdays from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Please stop by the location of your choice to sign up two weeks in advance. Polish American Congress Charitable Foundation
Sponsors Majer & Lakowski Families Memorial Scholarships
The Polish American Congress Charitable Foundation is formally announcing that it is accepting applications for the Majer & Lakowski Families Memorial Scholarships. Scholarships will be granted to full-time undergraduate or graduate students majoring in either engineering or business administration at a public state university or college. Preference will be given to juniors, seniors and graduate students. The amount of the scholarship will be equal to the total annual tuition charge, not including fees, for a student classified by the institution involved as a state resident.  That amount will also be awarded to a student classified as a state non-resident. Fundacja Charytatywna Kongresu Polonii Amerykańskiej (Polish American Congress Charitable Foundation) infromuje o udostępnionych stypendiach imienia rodzin Majer i Lakowski – The Majer and Lakowski Families Memorial Scholarships – dla studentόw studiόw inżynieryjnych i administracji biznesu. Kandydaci muszą być studentami studiόw bakalarskich (lincencjackich)  lub magisterskich, w publicznej uczelni stanowej (uniwersytet lub college). Pierwszeństwo będzie dane do uczniόw na roku studiόw trzecim, czwartym i magisterskie. Stypendia pokrywają roczne czesne, ktόre uiszcza student – mieszkaniec stanu.
