Atlantic City Bus Trip
NEW JERSEY – St. John Kanty Parish invites all to a trip to Atlantic City. Free Legal Workshop For Women
NEW JERSEY – Women in Transition hosts this free workshop, “Legal Issues In Divorce” facilitated by attorney Janet L. Porro. The discussion will include recent updates to family law and alimony, knowing your legal rights and responsibilities, how to choose an attorney, what mediation is and what you can do before seeking legal advice. Open to all women who are interested in learning more about the legal and financial issues of separation and divorce, the workshop will take place on Mon., Nov. 25th from 7:00-8:30 at Wayne Counseling Center.  Pre-registration is required. Wreathmaking Workshops
NEW JERSEY – NJBG will sponsor two hands-on Wreathmaking  Workshops at the New Jersey State Botanical Garden Carriage House Visitor Center, on Saturday, November 23, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.  The workshops are an annual tradition at NJBG. In these two workshops you’ll learn how to assemble and decorate holiday wreaths to grace your home, using a variety of fresh and dried plant materials. You’ll make two wreaths, one to take home with you  and one for use at NJBG’s Holiday Open House. Szopka Festival
CONNECTICUT – The Polish Cultural Club of Greater Hartford will hold their annual Szopka Festival on Sunday, December 1, from 9:30 am till 3:00 pm at the Polish National Home, 60 Charter Oak Avenue, Hartford. The Szopkas (elaborate Polish Christmas Mangers), which are made by area school children, will be on display and prizes will be awarded for the best Szopkas. St. Mikolaj, the traditional Polish Santa, will be there to greet the children. There will be a variety of Polish imports and home-baked goods including Polish babka, pierogies and kielbasa. Christmas Grave Blanket & Wreath Fundraiser
NEW JERSEY – The St. Stan’s Rosary Altar Society will be taking orders for grave blankets and wreaths.  Additional bows will also be on sale. This sale will take place the weekend of November 23rd and 24th.  Samples will be in the main lobby and the elevator lobby.  Three sizes are available. Pick up date is Saturday, December 7th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the parking lot behind the School, 225 MacArthur Ave., Sayreville.  Payment due when order is placed. Rosary Confraternity Casino Trip
NEW JERSEY – On Wednesday, December 4, come and enjoy a day-into-evening excursion to the beautiful Sands Casino & Luxury Shopping Outlet Stores! It’s your choice of how you spend your time…playing the wide variety of casino games, doing some shopping at luxury outlets such as Lenox, Chico’s, Coach, Nine West (and more!), or a little bit of both!  The bus will leave from in front of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington, at 2:00 p.m. sharp, returning at approximately 11:30 p.m.  Payment is due at the time of the reservation. Chopin Christmas Holiday Concert
NEW JERSEY – Chopin Singing Society celebrates its 103rd Anniversary with a festive Christmas Holiday Concert which will take place; Sunday, December 8, 2013, 3 PM at the Polish Peoples’ Home, 1-3 Monroe Street , Passaic, NJ.
