The 20th Annual Cheerios Box Cover winners were announced recently and two dedicated employees of Patsy’s Shop Rite in Lyndhurst, New Jersey were chosen to make the box.

The program which is celebrating its 20th Anniversary works together with Partners In Caring, a program that all Shop Rite stores are involved. The Inserra Family has embraced this worthy cause and has raised 48 million dollars to fight hunger in New Jersey.

In photo: Nick Vessichelli (pointing to the photos on the box – one being of him and the other of Debbie) and Debbie Stabinski worked very hard along with all the cashiers, office and front end personnel to meet the dollar amount in donations needed to get your picture on the coveted box.

Carl Inserra together with his Aunt Laura attended the unveiling of the Cereal Box at Patsy’s Shop Rite.  Store Manager Mike I. was very involved with all the events that were put together by the committee which was headed by Nick and Debbie.

Patsy’s employees have been featured on covers five times in the past 20 years. Donations are requested at the checkout registers but other events including car washes were coordinated by Sigrid, Kathy, Brittany and many others.

Partners In Caring works with local food pantries and the Community Food Bank headquartered in Hillside, NJ to help feed thousands of hungry neighbors who need help. General Mills and Wakefern should also be applauded for their philanthropic work in wiping out hunger and for encouraging good eating habits.

Nick works as a Dietitian for Inserra Super Markets. Debbie a retired executive works part time at Patsy’s as a cashier and florist; she truly enjoys helping those less fortunate than herself.
