Vintage Swing Dance Back At PNH
CONNECTICUT – Swing Dancing is back at the Polish National Home of Hartford. Put on your dancing shoes and come out on Thursday, June 7

New Jersey  “Simple Wills” Seminar
NEW JERSEY – Northeast New Jersey Legal Services of the Passaic County Division presents “SIMPLE WILLS”. Come join us on Friday, June 8
th. A representative from Legal Services will explain what a Will is and how it works, and the difference between Probation and Administration. The seminar will take place at the Passaic County Department of Senior Services, 930 Riverview Drive, Suite 200, Totowa from 10 am to 12 pm. Music at the Castle: A Welcome to Summer
NEW JERSEY – The Clifton Community Band of Clifton, NJ is performing a free public outdoor concert as part of the Passaic County Historical Society’s Lambert Castle Concert Series on Saturday June 9th,  starting  5 pm. Krolick’s Chicken Dinner
NEW YORK – St. John Gualbert Parish, 83 Gualbert Ave., Cheektowaga will host a Krolick’s chicken dinner and basket raffle on Sunday, June 10, 2018. Bluebirds, Nest Boxes and how they help
NEW JERSEY – NJBG invites you to explore the Botanical Garden’s many beautiful residents on a Nature Walk at the New Jersey State Botanical Garden on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 10 am.  Join us for an easy walk of the garden and fields as we visit the volunteer-installed bluebird nest boxes and learn why they are important to the Eastern Bluebird. You’ll also look for and identify some of the many birds, butterflies and plants that call NJBG home. Wear comfortable shoes and meet at the Carriage House Visitor Center. Rain cancels. This program is sponsored by the NJBG/Skylands Association and the Bergen County Audubon Society. The New Jersey State Botanical Garden at Skylands, which appears on both the State and National Registers of Historic Places, is open from 8 am to 8 pm every day. Admission to the Garden is always free. Parking fee on summer weekends and holidays: $5/car for NJ residents; $7/car out-of-state.; summer weekday parking is free. Clifton Health Department Presents 2017 Annual Report
CLIFTON, NJ – The Clifton Health Department will present its 2017 Annual Report at its Board of Health Meeting on Tuesday, June 12th at 6:30 pm at Clifton City Hall, 900 Clifton Avenue, Clifton, in Conference Room 101. The Clifton community is invited and encouraged to attend this informative meeting.  Registration is not required. Light refreshments will be served. The Clifton Health Department’s 2017 Annual Report identifies the services and programs provided by the Administrative, Animal Control, Environmental Health, Health Education, and Public Health Nursing divisions during 2017. During the presentation, Health Officer John E. Biegel, III and staff will review highlights, accomplishments, and challenges during 2017 and what is planned and anticipated for the near future.  In partnership with the community, the Clifton Health Department works to prevent disease, promote and protect health and well-being, and enrich quality of life for those who live and work in our community. Polish Passport Day In Ohio – NY Polish Consul Visits Cleveland

Holy Mass In Polish
OHIO – The next Holy Mass in Polish language will be held on June 17th, (Father’s Day ) at 2 pm at the Holy Family Church. After Mass, everyone is invited to join the Corpus Christi procession. Free Citizenship Preparation Classes

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Polish American Arts Association of Washington, D.C. invites all of Polonia to the Wianki Festival of Wreaths by the Reflecting Pool at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial on Saturday, June 23
rd, 2018, starting at 6:00 p.m. Picnic and wreath making workshop at 6:00 p.m. (Wreath making material and instructions will be available). Polish folk dance ensembles in colorful traditional costumes will follow with spirited performances of Polish music, song and dance. Please come join this annual celebration of family, fun and entertainment. Bring your picnic basket. The event is free and open to all!

2018 Clifton Safety Town Program
NEW JERSEY – The Clifton Safety Town Committee is proud to announce the 2018 Safety Town Program will take place Monday, July 23, 2018 through Friday, August 3, 2018. Safety Town is for children entering kindergarten in a Clifton School in September 2018.  Children entering 1st grade are welcome if they have not attended the program previously. This two-week program is organized entirely by hardworking and dedicated volunteers. Safety Town is modeled after a national program designed to educate and train children in safety through the involvement of real life situations. A miniature town with streets, buildings, and traffic signs are used. “Big wheels” will also be provided as part of the program to give further instruction. Guest speakers will be there to teach and demonstrate important lessons in fire, electrical, pool and road safety, as well as nutrition, first aid, drug prevention and dental hygiene. The entire program will take a total of approximately 30 hours; scheduled between 8:45 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at Clifton Public School # 2, 1270 Van Houten Ave. The fee is $25.00 per child to cover the cost of supplies. Registration can be done online at or in-person at City Hall (900 Clifton Avenue, Recreation Department).
