Holy Hour for Life & Liberty
NEW JERSEY – Fortnight for Freedom, Thursday, July 3 at 7 pm at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 10 St. Francis Way, Passaic. Come join the Knights of Columbus, Regina Mundi Council 3969 in an hour of prayer and adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament as we pray for religious liberty and freedom for our great nation. The theme of this year’s Fortnight will focus on the freedom to serve the poor and vulnerable in accord with human dignity and the Church’s teaching. We will also pray for the courage to boldly and joyfully stand in protection of our freedom, so that we may continue to live out our faith and transform the world in which we live. OCL Branches Closed July 4th
NEW JERSEY – All branches of the Ocean County Library will be closed Independence Day, Friday July 4. All branches will resume their regular business hours July 5. Access to the library’s website www.theoceancountylibrary.org and its databases will be available throughout the July 4th holiday.
July Children’s Programs At Wallington Library
NEW JERSEY – JFK Memorial Library of Wallington is pleased to announce its July Children’s Programming. We have changed to summer program hours for July and August, so please make note of the time for crafts, movie, etc. In keeping with the Summer Reading Program which concentrates on all different kinds of science, we will do some easy science experiments. We will also do story time and crafts, as well as Bingo and Movie Night. See time schedule below: Ages 3-5 Mondays at 2:30 pm; Ages 6-8 Tuesdays at 2:30 pm. Bingo will be held on Thursdays, 7/10 and 7/24. Movie night at the VFW starting at 6:00 pm. Movie is THE LEGO MOVIE which is rated PG. Any questions, please contact us at 973-471-1692. Englishtown Auction Flea Market Trip
NEW JERSEY – Join the Clifton Recreation Department on Saturday, July 12, 2014 for the Englishtown Auction Flea Market. Voted the best flea market, this bargain hunter’s paradise of today dates back to 1929 and is the largest of its kind. Englishtown has everything from antiques and collectables to beauty supplies and farmers markets. Come enjoy the excitement in both the indoor and outdoor facilities! The bus will leave from City Hall at 7:30 a.m. and return to City Hall at approximately 5:00 p.m. The fee is $17.00 per person and includes: transportation, supervision and great deals on items. Polish Falcons National Golf Tournament
NEW YORK – This year’s National Golf Tournament will be hosted by Nest 6 Buffalo, N.Y. and will take place on August 6-8, starting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday and ending in the evening on Friday.
