CALIFORNIA – The Consulate General of Poland in Los Angeles invites Polish Citizens to the Consular Outreach in San Francisco to apply for passport services on the following days: Sept. 24th (Tues.) – 9 am to 5 pm; Sept. 25th (Wed.) – 9 am to 5 pm; Sept. 26th (Thurs.) – 9 am to 5 pm; and Sept. 27th (Fri.) – 9 am to 1 pm. The Consular Outreach will be set up at the Nativity of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, 240 Fell St., San Francisco, CA 94102 (entrance by the church hall). PACS of Stamford Announces Scholarship Winners
CONNECTICUT – Three students of Polish descent were awarded scholarships from the Polish American Cultural Society of Stamford, CT. Jerzy Karwowski, President of the organization, and committee awarded scholarships to Katarzyna Babinska who will attend the University of Connecticut, Katarzyna Krasniak who will also attend the University of Connecticut and Dorota Mariak who will attend Syracuse University.
Polish Day At National Shrine of The Divine Mercy
MASSACHUSETTS – A pilgrimage to the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Stockbridge is being organized by St. Mary’s Parish in Ware on Sunday, September 22. The bus will be leaving St. Mary’s Church at 10:00 a.m. and returning approximately at 7:00 p.m. If anyone from Divine Mercy Parish wishes to go then the bus will pick you up in the parking lot at Divine Mercy. Polish Falcons Pilgrimage To Doylestown
PENNSYLVANIA – This year’s weekend bus trip will be hosted by Rev. Canon Father Joseph Sredzinski, National Chaplain of the Polish Falcons of America. Participants will attend a Polish language Mass on Sunday, Sept. 22 at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa hosted by the Pauline Fathers. The pilgrimage will include a Polish-style dinner and other attractions.The pilgrimage will depart at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 from the South Side of Pittsburgh, Penn. with an overnight stay in New Jersey. Poetry Workshops At PCCC’s Wanaque Campus
