Treasure Swap Clothing Party & Art Auction
ILLINOIS – Council 27 of the Polish Womens Alliance of America is hosting a “TREASURE SWAP CLOTHING PARTY and ART AUCTION FOR CHARITY” on Saturday, July 13th from 10 am to 4 pm at Bo Padowskis Enchanted Garden, 9500 Greenwood Drive, Des Plaines. Here’s how it works: For every piece of women’s clothing, accessories (hats, scarfs, belts, shoes, etc.) outerwear, etc. that you bring, you get to select up to the same number of “new to you” items to take home. All items must be “gently used”, “like new” or new condition or they will not be accepted. It would be very much appreciated if clothing is brought on throw-away hangers so they look their best, but folded clothing will be accepted. Any items remaining at the end of the party, will be donated to the PAA (Polish American Association) to benefit victims of domestic abuse. Art Auction: All paintings will be exhibited in the morning and the auction will start at 2 pm. 50% of proceeds will be donated to “ANAWIM” the Shelter for the Poor. Complimentary wine & cheese will be served. All are welcome. For more information call Bo Padowski 847-420-4070 or Antoinette Trela 847-323-1005.
