Conversation About Ukraine & Poland At KF
NEW YORK – POLAND/UKRAINE 2014 – Will Russia invade Ukraine? Can Ukrainians compromise and unite behind a new president and government? Will Ukraine split and lose territory to the Russian Federation? What are the United States and the European Union doing to avert more bloodshed? How has Poland been working to avert further tragedy in Ukraine? These and other matters will be discussed by our speakers, Adrian Karatnycky of the Atlantic Council and John S. Lambert Castle Concert Series Presents…
NEW JERSEY – On Sunday, May 25th at 5pm in Lambert Castle (home of the Passaic County Historical Society) at 3 Valley Road, Paterson NJ; the Central Jersey Symphony Orchestra will be returning to perform as a part of the Lambert Castle Concert Series. Founded in 1970 as the Somerset County College Orchestra, in 2002 the CJSO re-organized as an independent nonprofit organization. The mission of the Central Jersey Symphony is to enrich the community by inspiring a love of music through exciting performances, innovative programming, and educational outreach. Seating is limited, no reservations will be taken. This performance is a part of the 2014 Lambert Castle Concert Series. Featuring local musicians and a variety of musical genres, all concerts are performed in the beautiful atmosphere that is Lambert Castle. Midtown Men Trip Rescheduled
NEW JERSEY – Join the Clifton Recreation Department for a musical performance by The Midtown Men at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. This trip has been rescheduled from April 25th so if you didn’t purchase tickets, now is your chance. These four charismatic vocalists took the musical theater world by storm in one of the biggest hits of all times – Jersey Boys. Together again as The Midtown Men, they make their debut with a polished production that showcases some of the biggest hits of the 1960’s: “Can’t Buy Me Love”, “Up on the Roof, “Happy Together”, “California Dreaming” and more. The bus will leave from City Hall at 6:45 p.m. (show time is 8:00 p.m.) and return to City Hall approximately 10:30 p.m. The fee is $55.00 per person and includes: transportation, supervision, Prelude Concert in the lobby by The Cameos, and the main performance. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are limited and on a first come, first-served basis.
