Paramus Catholic Presents “Shakespiracy” Comedy
NEW JERSEY – Paramus Catholic High School presents the comedy, Shakespiracy, featuring “Hamlet! The Ultra-Dramatic Musical Comedy Thrill-Mageddon” and “Bad Auditions by Bad Actors.” Members of the community are invited to attend. Tickets are $3.00 for students and seniors and $8.00 for adults. CLIFTON, NEW JERSEY – On Friday, March 15th, The Christopher Columbus Middle School Home and School Association will be hosting our annual Tricky Tray at the Boys and Girls club in Clifton. Dance Class Begins On March 20th
NEW YORK – It’s polka time once again at the Polish Legion of American Veterans hall in Pine Island. The Hudson Valley Polonaise Society’s 10-week spring session will begin on Wednesday, March 20th. Children’s classes from 6 to 7 p.m. for six weeks, (ending April 24th) and adults classes are from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. for ten weeks (through May 22nd). We hope you will bring your enthusiasm and take part in the fun and enjoyment these classes have brought to many. Our classes include polka, oberek and the popular figure dances. Pine Island has the reputation of having “polka enthusiasm” and a full dance floor…after all, that’s what we do best! Come out on March 20th. Community Gardens by Jan Zientek
NEW JERSEY – Jan Zientek, Senior Program Coordinator, Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station, organizes community gardens. He is a lifelong organic gardener, serves as senior agriculture program coordinator in Essex County, providing support for Master Gardeners and urban and community gardeners, and works with community-based and governmental organizations to develop and deliver his programming. Join Master Gardeners for Jan’s presentation on how to organize a community garden including: finding collaborators, location, water, insurance, fees, maintenance, rules and regulations…and more. The presentation will be held on: Tuesday March 19 at 7:30 pm, at The County Administration Building, One Bergen Plaza, County Place, Hackensack in the Learning Center on the 1st floor, Home of the County Extension Office. There is plenty of parking & easy access to the building. Meetings are open to all interested gardeners, free of charge, and refreshments, followed by announcements, start at 7 pm. NEW JERSEY – A Fish & Chip Dinner (by Thistle Catering) will be held on Friday, March 22nd at St. John Kanty Parish Center in Clifton from 6-8 p.m. Continuous serve.
