Christmas Bazaar & Polish Food Faire

Wallington Fire Department’s Holiday Parade 2013
NEW JERSEY – On Saturday, November 30, Wallington Fire Department will present its’ 12th Annual Holiday Parade. This is largest gathering of lighted and decorated fire trucks and floats in the nation. This nighttime parade of over 2500 participants starts at 6 pm, and includes fire departments and organizations throughout the tri-state area. Thousands of spectators line the parade route, including the residents, who have yard parties all in anticipation of this 2 mile parade of 250 lighted and decorated fire trucks and floats.”The 2 hour parade begins on Mt. Pleasant and Roehrs Drive and concludes at the Veteran’s Monument on Union Boulevard. The parade ends at the Centennial Field, where participants will enjoy entertainment, refreshments and the presentation of various parade trophies, including The Chief’s Trophy going to the Best Decorated Vehicle in the parade. Senior Fit Day
NEW JERSEY – LA Fitness of Clifton is taking an active role in improving the health and well-being of our community’s seniors (ages 60 and over) by hosting the Clifton Recreation Department’s Senior Fit Day on Thursday, December 5th from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. LA Fitness is located in the Clifton Promenade at 852 Route 3 West. The event will include: 5 hour use of LA Fitness, a variety of exercise classes and clinics, light snacks, giveaways and more. All registered individuals will receive a coupon for a discounted lunch at the Promenade Shops. The facility has a large variety of exercise machines, a swimming pool and whirlpool, exercise rooms, basketball court, racquetball and sauna; so come prepared to participate. Pre-registration is required (no registration will be taken at the door) and all participants MUST have an armband to enter the facility. Armbands may be purchased at the Clifton Recreation Department. The cost is $5.00 for residents/ $10.00 non-residents.
