Holiday Family Fun & Food Fair
CONNECTICUT – The Ladies Guild of SS. Cyril and Methodius Church will host their annual Holiday Family Fun & Food Fair on Saturday, November 16, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 17, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the event will be held in the Church’s Lower Hall, 63 Popieluszko Court (between Wyllys Street and Charter Oak Ave.), Hartford. JFK Library Children’s Events For November
NEW JERSEY – Children’s Services is pleased to announce our Children’s Events for November. We’ll be reading great books and making Thanksgiving crafts to put us all in a festive holiday mood. Craft day for ages 3-5 will be Monday 11/18; Craft day for ages 6-8 will be Tuesday, 11/12 and 11/19. BINGO will be held on Monday & Tuesday 11/25 and 11/26-ages 3 & up. November Movie Night will be held on 11/13 and we will be watching MONSTERS UNIVERSITY which is rated G. The movie begins at 6:30 pm and is held at the VFW, 125 Main Ave., Wallington. Master Gardeners of Bergen County Meeting
NEW JERSEY – The November meeting of the Bergen County Master Gardeners, will feature a special presentation by The New Jersey Invasive Species Strike Team, a statewide non-profit organization with a mission “to prevent the spread of emerging invasive species across the state of New Jersey”. Many invasive plants stem from the landscape industry, and this workshop will focus on the threats of invasive species and how you can be a part of preventing their spread across New Jersey. The presentation will be held on: Tues. Nov. 19, 7:30 pm, at The County Administration Building, One Bergen Plaza, County Place, Hackensack, in the multi-purpose meeting room on the 1st floor.
