Piast Institute Establishes Legal Aid Clinic
HAMTRAMCK, Mich. – Beginning in October, Piast Institute will be hosting a legal aid clinic twice each month from Noon to 5 p.m. The clinic will provide general legal services, including estate planning. Red Hat Angels Bowling Fundraiser
NEW JERSEY – Red Hat Angels, a team from the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Clifton will be striking out against cancer at their second annual bowling FUNdraiser at Garden Palace Lanes on Lakeview Avenue in Clifton on Sunday 10/6/13 from 2-4 PM. Your $20.00 donation will include 2 hours of bowling, rental of shoes and 1 pizza and beverage per lane. Proceeds of the night will be donated to the Relay for Life Clifton. Form your team of 6 and call Evelyn to purchase tickets. If you don’t have a team of 6, come and enjoy and we’ll put you with some fellow bowlers. Relay for Life Clifton is an overnight event held at Clifton Stadium; it is tentatively set for Saturday, May 31 to Sunday, June 1, 2014. “Raising Some Dough” At UNO’s
NEW JERSEY – Clifton Cares, a volunteer group who sends packages to our troops in Afghanistan will be partnering with UNO’s Chicago Grill, 426 Route 3 West in Clifton for a fundraising event on October 10 and find a way to “raise some dough.” Dine in or take out all day and night and UNO’s will generously donate up to 20% of your pre-tax bill to this project. Clifton Cares sends packages to our troops every 2 months and since 2010 has sent over 3000 packages.
